What this website collects

The inquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, session interest, preferred timeframe, and the message you choose to provide. A phone number is requested only when you would like me to call or text you.

Why it is collected

I use this information to answer your inquiry, discuss photography services, plan an agreed session, record an electronic agreement and optional photo permission, and maintain basic business records. I won’t add you to a marketing list without separate consent.

Where information is handled

This website runs on ChatGPT Sites, with Cloudflare hosting, database and image storage. I receive inquiries in my private Studio, where access is restricted to approved administrators. Email notifications are sent when the sending connection is configured, and I use Gmail for business correspondence. These providers may process or store information outside Canada. I arrange private photograph delivery separately with each client.

Photographs and consent

Photo permission for my website, social media and paid advertising is optional and separate from accepting session terms. Each pictured adult makes their own choice; a parent or guardian can decide for a child under their care. Your choice can be changed through your private link or by emailing me. A private Pixieset delivery gallery is not permission for public use. The public website checks linked booking permission before serving photographs.

Sensitive information

Please do not submit medical details, children’s full names or birthdates, payment-card information, identity documents, or other sensitive information through this website.

Analytics and spam protection

The website uses submission limits and a hidden spam check to help prevent automated inquiries. Hosting services may keep operational and security logs. If an additional security challenge is enabled, Cloudflare processes the browser information required for that check. The site does not include advertising pixels or social-media feeds.

Retention and safeguards

I keep inquiry and business records only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide an agreed service, meet legal or accounting requirements, and resolve concerns. Access is restricted to approved administrators. I use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Questions or requests

To ask how your information has been used, request access or a correction, withdraw optional publication permission, or request deletion where the information is no longer required, email carleyschaferphotography@gmail.com.
